Welcome to my portfolio project: discover how I drew inspiration from space and rockets to design a modern, striking portfolio that reflects my personality. Through this project, I rethought the architecture, design and content to create a unique space that highlights my skills, achievements and career path.

Concept

As part of my Web Design course, I was tasked with designing an online portfolio that would later serve as a veritable professional showcase. The objective was twofold: to put into practice the skills acquired during the course, while creating a concrete tool to facilitate my job search.

Realization

To carry out this project, I first had to install WordPress, as this was part of the instructions. After installation, I read up on how to use it, as this was the first time I’d created a site with this tool. Next, I did some research to choose a suitable theme. Once the theme was selected, I created the wireframe, then the site design. Finally, I developed the entire site using WordPress.

Difficultés rencontrées

As far as difficulties are concerned, at first I had a hard time getting to grips with WordPress, mainly because of the large number of features available. I made a number of time-consuming mistakes, but I’m now more at ease with the tool, which makes it easier for me to move forward than it was at first, even if I still have a lot to learn. I also found it difficult to put the site online, as it was the first time I’d done this.
